Merry Christmas Eve from the Flints!
It's snowing now for the umpteenth time in two weeks. We're supposed to fly out to Texas a 5:40 am tomorrow (Christmas) morning, but it doesn't look like that will happen. Best case scenario, our flight from Bham to Seattle is only delayed and we don't spend hours in SeaTac. That's optimistic! We'll see what happens. It's funny how exciting snow can be the first time of the season, and how annoying it can be when it hangs around and keeps coming for two more weeks! I guess tricky driving, frozen washing machines, pushing cars out of snow in front of your house every day, uncertainty of cancellations, etc. can do that to you.
We've actually had a lot of fun playing out in it. Uploaded pictures include sledding with Jason & Bjorn on Sunday and caroling last night. We went sledding at a new park in town that had pretty big hills. Micah loved his first sledding experience, but mostly just liked to walk in the snow, pulling the sled. Even when we asked him if he wanted to go down the hill with Daddy, he just said, "walk." Bjorn was "all done, all done, all done" the minute we got out of the car!
The caroling was somewhat spontaneous- some of the about 20 people we knew and some we didn't, but it was fun to walk around the neighborhood simply blessing people with music. Every home we went to was welcoming and enjoyed the music. Micah loved it, but again, mostly loved pulling the sled.
