Crazy Cold

I guess Micah's still not into Santa yet.  I guess I'd be kinda freaked out too if my parents sat me on the lap of a strange bearded person in weird clothes and walked away and asked me to smile.  

So last week Winter made its arrival with authority. Temps have been in the teens and twenties since Friday evening with two times of snow. Snow came late Saturday night and then again today, Wednesday. BITTER cold! Life is definitely out of routine, between things being cancelled due to weather and holidays. We did have about 50 people at church on Sunday, though! Then, we attended (Jeff led) a funeral today for a sweet lady in our church. I was impressed at how many people braved the weather to come. When it was over, though, there was a lot more snow than when we came in! About 3 inches on the top of my car, I think. It's actually peaceful being inside and watching it come down.  Looking out our north window it looks like it's coming down really gently, but out our east window, you can see it blowing sideways!  When it stops blowing sideways we should take Micah to go play in it.  

Since we posted last, we've had a few fun things happen. We had a birthday party with some of Micah's little friends who are all within 2 months of each other. Our friends Angie & Katie came up for a visit (Micah's "aunties"). We had a Christmas party with the youth and music leadership at a pizza place. We're still looking for houses and have looked at a few more lately as well.  We have a feeling we'll be at this a while.
